Our Story
The desire to preserve the house's architecture from the 1940s is the origin of Casa Polanco. Mexico’s National Institute of Fine Arts has cataloged the house as having significant historical and architectural value.
The splendor of the original construction intertwines with modern interventions and a contemporary building, creating a fascinating architectural dialogue of materials and styles.
"There are places where time and memory meet, capturing the essence of what once was."
After a careful four-year restoration by renowned architect Claudio Gantous and with interior design intervention by CASA M+M, Casa Polanco welcomes those who love design, cosmopolitans, and those seeking a high-quality local experience.
Casa Polanco celebrates contemporary Mexico and the current vibrancy of its capital, inspiring interior design created by the best cabinetmakers, sculptors, and designers. In the heart of Polanco, Casa Polanco welcomes you to a city refuge like a knowledgeable friend.

A Historic Mansion
Casa Polanco has undergone various transformations, serving as offices and commercial spaces, reflecting the evolution of Polanco. This area has become a nucleus of economic and cultural power in the city.
The property experienced several changes until it was carefully restored to become the exclusive space it is today: Casa Polanco. This restoration process not only respected the original architecture but also allowed for a reinvention, giving it a contemporary air while honoring its historical past.
Today, Casa Polanco is a unique refuge combining sophistication, history, and modernity. The preserved architectural details, such as wall panels and wrought iron windows, remind us of its era's splendor. At the same time, modern amenities ensure an incomparable experience for those who visit and seek to feel at home.
Building
An architectural dialogue of fascinating materials and styles has become a landmark in the area. A corridor finished in glass and wood panels connects the mansion with the modern building, a sober and modern structure with woodwork, large windows, terraces, and spacious rooms.
Casa Polanco celebrates today’s dynamic, diverse, and chic capital city and features an inspired interior that Mexico’s top woodworkers, sculptors, and designers have created.

Interior Design
Art, history, and culture are part of our essence. The interior design of Casa Polanco blends the classic, retro, and contemporary in a cosmopolitan and welcoming environment.
Carefully curated by the interior design duo Mónica Romo and Mónica Novelo, its design combines furniture from different eras with mid-20th-century glamour and modern-inspired pieces.
This approach results in a sophisticated atmosphere where authentic materials like wood, marble, and wrought iron harmoniously integrate to create spaces full of elegance.
Mexican contemporary art plays a fundamental role, with works by prominent artists such as Graciela Iturbide and Luis Fernando Salazar and paintings and sculptures by iconic artists like Ricardo Mazal, Jordi Boldó, and Roberto Polidori.
Their pieces contribute to the sophisticated and authentic atmosphere permeating the space, adding a cultural and local touch. Moreover, the lighting is designed to generate a warm and cozy atmosphere, making Casa Polanco a place to rest and a refuge where every detail invites contemplation and enjoyment of Mexico's art, history, and culture.
The careful integration of various eras gives Casa Polanco its distinctive charm and elegance. This blend of timeless design and contemporary art creates an immersive cultural experience.
